Back in mid-2008, I was working at a company called JD Project (now known as telemetry.com; masters of the enigmatic brochure website). I had a job as Head of Commercial and the business was busy exploring a number of different directions, all in online video.
The company had initially been purely an online video based gaming company. Purchasing the ‘IVBG’ (interactive video based game) rights to popular UK-based TV gameshows, JD Project created these interactive video based games which put the view in the shoes of the contestant.
